Abstract

This article delves into the nuances of directness strategies employed in English and Uzbek business emails. Drawing on literature review and empirical data analysis, it examines cultural and linguistic influences on communication preferences and perceptions of clarity and effectiveness. Survey results underscore the universal preference for direct language while highlighting the need for flexibility in accommodating diverse communication styles. Insights provided serve as a valuable resource for professionals navigating cross-cultural business interactions via email.
